  • Identify current and potential future pedestrian connections to trails and right-of-ways
  • Consider splitting the building to break up the mass

Approved conceptually with the condition of revisiting the exterior design. The exterior design should reinforce the conceptual block massing shown initially in the presentation. The heavy use of vertical elements means the massing articulation is lost and is not compatible with the neighborhood context.

The parking garage must be fully screened from the Towpath Trail.

4.     Revisit the literary frontage to reduce the "fortress-like" quality of the facade. Consider steading/other activation amenities, or even a stair connection up to the patio/deck.
